Buon Compleanno Mamma!
For her birthday, everyone came over and enjoyed the pizzas we made. We used two bags of flour, 2 kilos, one envelope of yeast, and added water gradually while kneading the dough. We discovered the secret, and that was to let the dough sit for over three hours. The dough was perfect! Every one enjoyed the night and not a piece was left over…

Ciao, bella! Okay, so we're all on Weight Watchers, and this pizza looks soooooo delicioso! Thank goodness for the 100 calorie snack packages. They aren't homemade pizza, but they do fill the sweet tooth. It looks like you're becoming the Martha Stewart of Italy.
It’s amazing!! I love it there. (Right now I’m in Massachusetts visiting my parents…3/12/07…) I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get back, but I never knew that I needed to approve comments. I just thought no one ever wanted to comment?? Thank you Trish for reading, I love to think that you, too, can enjoy this adventure with me!
I have been carried away to a world that stops to taste the sweetness of the land, and admire all the treasures that their rich black soil provides. Now my journey begins as we enjoy the simple pleasures of the life! We came from different worlds, spoke different languages, but that didn’t stop us. We have our home in Sicily, and many adventures await us. Sicilia is our home!
Sailing across the Gulf of Mexico, I had the pleasure of meeting the most amazing man. Little did I know that he would eventually become the love of my life and would change my world. We were both working aboard a cruise line at the time. He, an Italian Engineer, and I, the featured headlining Vocalist, met at a crew party and the rest is history. Our beginning... Wedding Pictures...
